Hygienists
Our team of dental hygienists is committed to providing thorough and gentle cleanings, as well as valuable education on maintaining optimal oral health. They take pride in building lasting relationships with patients and making each visit a positive experience.
Elizabeth
Dental Hygienist
Elizabeth is a Western North Carolina native and a 2013 graduate of Asheville-Buncombe Technical College. With over a decade of experience in dental hygiene, she is detail oriented and passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits. Her calm and friendly demeanor allows her to connect easily with patients of all ages. Outside the office, Elizabeth enjoys baking sourdough, staying active, and spending quality time with her husband, Michael, and their two sons, Brady and Lukas.
Taryn
Dental Hygienist
Taryn is a caring and dedicated dental hygienist who graduated from AB Tech in 2023. She’s been a part of the WNC Dental team since October 2025. She’s passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident while improving their oral health. Taryn takes pride in creating a positive, stress-free experience for everyone in her chair and enjoys building lasting relationships with her patients. Outside of work, she loves staying active, traveling, and spending quality time with her daughter, Aj.
Amanda
Dental Hygienist
Amanda is a transplant from Greenville, NC and is a graduate of the AB-Tech Dental Hygiene program. She has been a part of the WNC Dental office since 2022. Amanda has never met a stranger, has a great sense of humor, and always finds a way to help our patients feel comfortable in our space. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys the great outdoors, fishing, and spending time with her family and four dogs.

Candace
Dental Assistant
A transplant from Greenville, NC, Candace moved to Brevard where she lives with her husband Garrett and their two dogs and cat. Candace has been a dental assistant for over six years and enjoys hiking reading, crafts, DIY projects, dancing, and playing drums. She loves working at WNC Dental as much as we love having her here.
Cinthia
Dental Assistant
Cinthia is one of our bilingual dental assistants and has been part of our team since 2020. She has a way of making all of our patients smile with her contagious laugh and brings an abundance of positivity to our office. In her spare time, you can find Cinthia spending time with her husband and three children and cheering on her sons at their baseball, soccer, and football games.
Vilma
Dental assistant
Originally from Chihuahua, Mexico, Vilma has called the Asheville area home for more than 30 years. She is fluent in both Spanish and English and has a knack for helping our pediatric patients feel comfortable in our space. In Vilma’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children, finding new places to hike, and searching for waterfalls.

Our front office team is here to welcome you with a smile and assist with scheduling, insurance, and any questions you may have. They are dedicated to making your experience at WNC Dental smooth and stress-free.
Katie
Practice Manager
Katie was our clinical leader of dental assistants before becoming Practice Manager, gaining nearly a decade of experience in dental operations under our doctors’ guidance. She holds a certificate in dental assisting, has completed coursework in CPR and dental management, and is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM), making her a valued team member. Outside of WNC Dental, Katie enjoys exploring the outdoors, themed yoga, and spending time with her significant other and two children, Abigail and Savanna.
Ashli
New Patient Coordinator
Ashli is native to the Asheville area. She has been part of our team since 2022. Ashli handles all of our new patient scheduling. Her relaxed and caring demeanor makes for a seamless experience when introducing our patients to our practice. When Ashli isn’t helping our new patients you can find her enjoying time with her significant other or spending long weekends at the beach.
Jeannine
Scheduling Coordinator
Jeannine enjoys spending time with her family. She is a proud mother of one son and one daughter. In her spare time, you can find her on the farm or in the sunshine at her family beach house. Jeannine creates a wonderful atmosphere for the front desk. You will always see her with a smile to greet all of our patients.

Dawn is from Michigan and has been a part of the WNC Dental family since she moved to the South in 2012. She has been working in the dental field since 1996. In her spare time, she enjoys mountain biking and anything to do with water and sun. Dawn has a fun and enjoyable personality which makes the conversation about insurance simple and painless.

Front Desk Coordinator
Kris is our Front Desk Coordinator and brings over 10 years of experience to our office. She loves making patients feel welcome when they walk in the door. She was born and raised here in WNC. In her free time she loves drives on the parkway chasing sunsets and spending time with friends and family
